So the other day I was getting saddled up on my red dragon to do my favorite daily quest when I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. Anyone remember the spiritual predecessor to “Defending Wyrmrest Temple” daily? If not, maybe this will do it for you…
The Air Strikes Must Continue. There was just something about that quest. The buildup as the rest of the squadron moved in to cover you, the sudden change from peaceful (but naga-filled) forest to burnt, ravaged land packed to the brim with the Burning Legion battling Shattered Sun, Brutallus jeering and taunting you as you reached the middle of your run… It was classic Blizzard. It also definitely didn’t hurt that you got to PEW PEW with blue lasers…
Anyway, just thought I’d take a stroll down memory lane with you. Anyone have any favorite daily quests from The Burning Crusade days?
